Drake Wuertz is running for Florida House District 38. He is running against the Republican incumbent, David Smith. Drake is a former pro wrestler whose career ended when he began speaking out about many issues of concern, among them human trafficking -- Drake is a member of the Seminole County Human Trafficking Task Force -- and the scourge of abortion. Already actively involved with his local school board and city/county governments, Drake decided he needed to run for office if he was going to be a part of the change he sought. Drake is the first candidate in the history of Florida to ever run on an abolitionist platform.
Drake appeared on the Liberator Now podcast. Great interview about his background, his Christian testimony, and how he came to decide to run for Florida House.
